Product Description

Celina MPT Gallon Mildew Prevention Treatment for Tent Fabric

Celina MPT gallon mildew prevention treatment is designed to prevent mildew growth on tent fabric for up to one year. This treatment is intended for use on new or freshly cleaned tents and is a critical step in long-term tent maintenance for event rental companies, venues, and organizations managing fabric shelters. By creating a protective barrier on the fabric, Celina MPT helps reduce mildew-related damage, appearance issues, and storage concerns.

Celina MPT is formulated to become part of the fabric once applied. After treatment, it will not be removed by washing, making it a reliable option for extending the service life of tents that are frequently deployed, cleaned, and stored.

Why Mildew Prevention Matters

Mildew growth can compromise tent fabric integrity, appearance, and usability if not properly managed. Applying a preventative treatment like Celina MPT after cleaning helps stop mildew before it starts, supporting cleaner inventory, fewer maintenance issues, and more dependable event setups throughout the season.

Key Benefits

  • Prevents mildew growth on tent fabric for up to one year
  • Designed for use on new or freshly cleaned tents
  • Remains effective even after washing once applied
  • Supports long-term tent storage and repeated deployment
  • Suitable for professional tent maintenance programs

How to Use Celina MPT

Step 1: Prepare the Tent Fabric

Ensure the tent fabric is new or thoroughly cleaned before application. If mold or mildew is present, clean the fabric completely before using Celina MPT. Applying the treatment to contaminated fabric will reduce effectiveness.

Step 2: Mix the Solution

Mix Celina MPT in a one to one ratio with clean water. Proper mixing is required to achieve full coverage and consistent performance across the fabric.

Step 3: Apply to the Fabric

Apply the mixed solution to both sides of the entire tent fabric to ensure complete coverage. One gallon covers approximately 2,650 square feet (246.19 square meters) of fabric.

Step 4: Allow to Set

Wait a minimum of 15 minutes after application before squeegeeing the surface clear, or allow the fabric to air-dry. This dwell time allows the treatment to bond effectively with the fabric.

Coverage and Performance

When applied correctly, Celina MPT provides long-lasting mildew prevention that remains effective even after routine washing. This makes it a valuable addition to maintenance workflows for tents that are frequently cleaned, transported, and stored between events.
