Product Description
JackJaw 402 Stake Puller with Folding Handle and Adjustable Base
JackJaw 402 Stake Puller is a professional-grade extraction tool designed for fast, safe removal of tent stakes and rebar commonly used by tent rental professionals. Built to handle stakes with diameters from 3/4 inch (19.05 mm) to 1 1/4 inch (31.75 mm), this large stake puller delivers controlled, straight-line extraction to help prevent bending stakes and damaging surrounding surfaces such as asphalt.
The JackJaw 402 combines powerful leverage with practical portability. Its folding handle with extension allows the unit to be stored in a more compact form when not in use, making it easier to transport and manage on crowded job sites or in service vehicles.
Why the JackJaw 402 Matters
Stake removal can be physically demanding and time-consuming, especially when stakes are deeply set or installed flush with the ground. The JackJaw 402 is engineered to pull stakes straight out of any surface, reducing resistance and protecting reusable stakes. Its design supports safer teardown by minimizing sudden release, back strain, and surface damage.
Key Features
- Removes tent stakes and rebar with diameters from 3/4 inch to 1 1/4 inch
- Folding handle with extension for compact storage
- Designed for straight-line extraction to prevent stake bending
- Helps protect asphalt and hard surfaces during removal
- Built for professional tent installation and teardown workflows
How the JackJaw 402 Is Used
Step 1: Deploy the Handle
Extend and secure the folding handle into its operating position. Ensure the handle extension is fully engaged before applying force.
Step 2: Position the Puller
Place the JackJaw 402 over the exposed portion of the tent stake or rebar. Align the puller so the extraction force stays in line with the stake shaft.
Step 3: Apply Lever Force
Apply steady force through the handle to extract the stake straight out of the ground. This aligned motion reduces resistance and helps prevent damage to the stake or surrounding surface.
Step 4: Fold for Storage
Once teardown is complete, fold the handle back into its compact position for easier storage and transport.
Adjustable Base and Flush Stake Removal
Like the JackJaw 302, the JackJaw 402 is equipped with an adjustable base. When used with the optional stake adapter AC0009, the puller can remove stakes that have been pounded flush with the ground or installed in stake bars or stake plates. This added versatility makes the JackJaw 402 suitable for a wide range of anchoring systems and installation scenarios.
