Overview

Product Description

Be prepared for all possible conditions with the 20 Ton Wisperkool HVAC. Each unit is capable either heater or cooling depending on the weather at your installation, and is easily transported via forklift. Overall, the narrow footprint, vertical design, and white paint allow the Wisperkool HVAC unit to blend in with most white tent installations. The standard bi-directional “free blow” grille arrangement distributes the air evenly inside the tent, or can be directed with the purchase of additional ducting and vent adapters for situations requiring more on-the-spot temperature control.

The standard environmental unit conversion is 1 ton of air conditioning for 75 to 100 square feet of space; the 20 Ton unit will therefore provide adequate conditioning for anywhere from 1500 to 2000 square feet. Be aware that environmental conditions and structural design greatly affects these numbers. For example, warmer climates should base estimates on the lower end of the scale (1 ton: 75 ft2) while the higher end (1 ton: 100 ft2) applies more to northern climates. A tent, with less air-tight design, would also benefit from using the lower end of the scale.
