Product Description
20' x 20' Presto Pole Hardware Kit
The 20' x 20' Presto Pole Hardware Kit is a professional-grade structural replacement package designed specifically for the Presto Series Pole Canopy. Known as the "Over the Counter Canopy," the Presto system is engineered for extreme portability and rapid deployment, making it a favorite for rental companies managing short-term events and homeowners hosting backyard gatherings. This kit provides a complete set of support hardware, allowing users to refresh their existing 20' x 20' setup or replace worn components without the need to purchase a new vinyl top. Built with galvanized steel for long-term corrosion resistance, the hardware ensures the tent remains stable and professional in appearance through repeated event setups.
The Presto Series is distinct for its lightweight, manageable design. Unlike heavier commercial pole tents, the Presto hardware features a modular pole system that breaks down into smaller sections (longest component approximately 4' 1"), allowing the entire kit to fit into standard vehicles for easy transport. This makes it an ideal solution for teardown and storage in limited spaces. Because it follows standard Presto engineering, this hardware kit is fully compatible with original Presto Series 20' x 20' one-piece tent tops, providing a cost-effective way to extend the lifespan of your inventory with minimal maintenance.
Why the Presto Hardware System Matters
For small-to-mid-size events, the 20' x 20' footprint (400 sq. ft.) is a versatile workhorse. The 20' x 20' Presto Pole Hardware Kit is engineered to balance lightweight handling with structural reliability. The 7-foot side poles create a comfortable eave height for guests, while the 12' 9" center pole provides a dramatic traditional peak that ensures efficient water runoff and a classic aesthetic. The use of a push-pole design simplifies the tent installation process, as the tensioning occurs naturally as the poles are moved into their vertical positions. This streamlined approach allows a crew of just two people to complete a full installation quickly and safely.

How to Use / Installation Best Practices
Installing the Presto hardware system is a straightforward process that relies on proper tensioning and site preparation.
Step 1: Site Inspection and Layout Select a level area clear of overhead and underground utilities. Spread a protective drop cloth and lay your 20' x 20' tent top on the ground. Lay out the side poles at each grommet location and place the anchoring pins approximately 3.5' out from the tent perimeter.
Step 2: Driving Anchors Drive the 12 included 24-inch anchoring pins vertically into the ground. Leave approximately 6 inches of the stake exposed to allow for proper rope attachment. Ensure you have contacted local utility markers before stake driving.
Step 3: Side Pole and Rope Attachment Assemble the 2-piece side poles. Insert the pole pins through the corner grommets first, followed by the remaining side poles. Attach the guy ropes from the tent top to the anchoring pins, leaving them loose enough to allow the center pole to be raised.
Step 4: Raising the Center Pole Assemble the 4-piece center pole. Crawl under the tent top and insert the center pole tip through the center "O" ring and brass grommet. Lift the center pole into a vertical position. This action will provide the initial tension to the entire structure.
Step 5: Final Tensioning Return to the perimeter and tighten all guy ropes by sliding the rope adjusters until the side poles are vertical and the tent top is taut. Secure the jump ropes to the center pole to prevent the top from lifting in wind. Regular maintenance checks on rope tension are recommended during use.
