Overview

Product Description

Frame Tent Jack (12' Lift) for 2" Frame Tubing

Speed up frame tent installs and improve on-site safety with CELINA's Frame Tent Jack. This 12' (3.7 m) jack is designed to lift frame tent perimeter tubing and hold the frame hands-free while installers insert legs and complete assembly. Instead of relying on extra crew members to keep the frame elevated, the tent jack provides a controlled, stable lift point that helps reduce strain, improve efficiency, and lower the chance of accidents during setup.

Built for real install environments, the jack uses a cable and winch system to raise and lower the frame smoothly. A purpose-built hook design wraps around the perimeter tubing to keep contact secure during lifting. For best results, the attached hook is intended for tents with 2" (50.8 mm) diameter tubing.

Why a Frame Tent Jack Improves Installation Efficiency

Lifting a frame tent into position is one of the most labor-intensive parts of installation - and one of the most common points where crews rush or improvise. A proper tent jack allows the team to lift the frame in a controlled way and keep it lofted while legs are installed. That means fewer “hold it right there” moments, fewer resets, and fewer crew members tied up just keeping the frame elevated.

The result is a more consistent workflow: lift, insert legs, confirm alignment, and move to the next point. Over a full season, that consistency can save significant time and reduce the wear and tear that comes from repeated manual lifting.

Hands-Free Lifting with a Cable & Winch System

The Frame Tent Jack uses a cable and winch mechanism for raising and lowering. This gives installers better control than simply muscling the frame up or using improvised leverage. The crank handle allows the operator to lift gradually, keep the frame stable, and stop at the desired height while legs are positioned and secured.

Hook Design Built for Frame Perimeter Tubing

The hook is designed to fit around the perimeter tubing of a frame tent, helping keep contact secure during the lift. Positioning matters: place the tent jack near a fitting to help prevent damaged tubing and to support a more stable lift. Once the hook is looped around the perimeter tube, turn the crank to raise the frame into position.

Stability Features for Safer Operation

Stability is essential when lifting a frame. The base of the jack includes mounted loops that accept standard 1" (25.4 mm) tent stakes to increase stability during use. This helps reduce movement while the frame is elevated and supports safer work when crews are inserting legs and aligning the structure. (Tent stakes are sold separately.)

Key Benefits

  • Reduces labor during setup: Frees up crew members by holding the frame elevated hands-free.
  • Improves safety: Controlled lifting reduces the chance of slips, drops, and rushed handling.
  • Faster leg insertion: Keeps the frame lofted while installers position and install legs.
  • Controlled raise/lower: Cable and winch system with crank handle for smooth operation.
  • Secure hook design: Hook fits around the frame perimeter tubing for stable lifting.
  • Easy transport: Larger tires help move the jack around job sites more easily.
  • Stake-ready base: Base accepts standard 1" stakes to increase stability.

How to Use

1) Position the Jack

  • Place the tent jack near a fitting to help prevent tubing damage and improve lift stability.

2) Attach the Hook

  • Loop the hook around the perimeter tubing of the frame tent.

3) Lift the Frame

  • Turn the crank handle to raise the frame to the desired height.
  • Insert legs while the frame is held elevated hands-free.

4) Add Stability (Recommended)

  • Use standard 1" tent stakes through the base loops to increase stability during lifting.

Specifications

  • Lift height: 12' (3.7 m)
  • Best fit tubing size: 2" (50.8 mm) diameter frame tubing
  • Lift mechanism: Cable & winch system
  • Mobility: Larger tires for easier transport
  • Stability support: Base loops accept standard 1" (25.4 mm) stakes (stakes sold separately)

Ideal For

  • Frame tent installation crews looking to reduce labor and improve workflow
  • Rental operations aiming for faster, more consistent setups
  • Teams prioritizing safer lifting and hands-free frame positioning
  • Install environments where controlled lifting reduces risk and rework
