CELINA offers the Rhino® GPD-40™ for crews who need a safer, faster way to drive tent stakes and posts without hauling extra equipment. This lightweight, gas-powered driver is built for quick deployment on job sites and event installs - and one of its biggest advantages is simplicity: no stake driver bit required. Just place the stake head into the driver's collar and start driving.
Powered by the dependable Honda GX35 4-cycle engine and weighing roughly 38 lbs (17.24 kg) fully fueled, the GPD-40 delivers a strong balance of mobility and driving power. It's equipped with a 2-1/2" master chuck and is designed for post driving applications ranging from tent stakes and concrete form pins to t-posts, grape stakes, and fence posts up to 2-3/8" diameter. For event and tent rental teams, that means faster installs with less physical strain compared to manual driving.
Traditional stake driving often means coordinating tools, bits, hoses, compressors, or specialty fuel sources. The Rhino GPD-40 is designed to avoid that headache. It runs on regular gas and does not require additional equipment like propane systems or hydraulic power sources. For crews moving from site to site, this reduces setup time and helps keep the work area cleaner and more efficient.
The side-handle configuration provides two handles that support quick positioning and controlled operation. The handles are ergonomically designed to improve weight distribution, helping operators maintain better control during repeated stake driving cycles.
Stake driving is repetitive work, and vibration can wear down an operator quickly. Rhino incorporates internal vibration dampening and a handle system built around comfort and balance. For teams running long install days, this can help reduce fatigue and improve consistency - especially when driving stakes across hard ground or high-count layouts.
An optional configuration is available with anti-shock D-style handles for applications like tent stakes and concrete form pins, offering another comfort-focused option for crews that prioritize vibration reduction.
The GPD-40 is manufactured in the USA using high-quality materials designed for durability in commercial use. Components are engineered to high standards, including heat-treated alloy steel, aircraft quality aluminum, stainless steel fasteners, and sealed bearings on rotating parts. In real-world operations, that translates into a driver built to handle repeated use across seasons - not a disposable tool that fades after a handful of installs.
